Kendalls steak and ale pie is THE most delicious, delectable pie I think I have ever tried - including my own home made! The filling is ALWAYS consistent, wonderfully tasty, lean, melt in the mouth. The Gravy is fantastic. And their pastry beats even my Mum's. A plate pie will feed 5 easily with veg, we serve ours with Roast Potatoes as we've got the oven on anyway and they just make such a special meal - every one is a celebration! And it makes us think of the beauty of Nidderdale as we tuck in. I think everyone who tries these great pre-prepared dishes will never want to try any other. They are just great.
